Our last day in DC.
It's been a great trip. Tomorrow we'll head out for home. Enjoy these parting shots of DC.
We loved the intricate details of this building.
So what's the building? See next pic...
There's my honey standing at the back of the Capital Building.
Supreme Court Building - the halls of justice.
Love those trains. Any kind of trains. As you will see :)
Taking in the conversation.
Even Jan loves those trains?
Follow the 66 Route. It originates in Chicago.
Love those models.
I liked the 3D image
The Holocaust Museum - very somber. The quote on the black marble wall? See below...
One of the gardens on my way to revisit MLK Memorial
After we returned home from the Twilight tour we didn't have a taxi to take back to the motel. This became a very meaningful quote. So I went back to take a picture of it.
The gap in the top picture is where Martin Luther King Jr. came from. Hope from the rock.
That's it. We're heading to King St.-Old Town for dinner and then we'll be heading out for home first thing in the morning.
